Tulipa ' Little Princess' & Tulipa aucheriana.

                              Tulipa 'Little Princess' & Tulipa aucheriana.

Two Tulips that Helen had on the display bench at the Flora of The Silk Road conference, plus a pot of Fritillaria bithynica that looked gorgeous on the Saturday but has now past it's best.
From Helen;
This Tulipa 'Little Princess' came from last years 'Bunfight' - a contribution from Will and Fermi.
I can only assume this is the correct name for this plant, but I have several that look similar.

Tulipa aucheriana is from a single bulb from Marcus Harvey in 2008 and now I have many bulbs in
two large pots. It is definitely one of my favourites.

Tulipa 'Little Princess' is a cross between T.hageri and T.humilis but is often passed around in Australia as T.hageri unfortunately, The true Tulipa hageri is available - or it has been from Island Bulbs (a long time ago!) and from Marcus Harvey a year or two ago,
