On of the easier
Campanula's to grow if you can keep the slugs and snails off it,
Campanula cochlearifolia. Mat forming by underground thin rhizomes, leaves are small green and serrated. The plants get to 10cm tall and branching to carry many small variable shaped bells from white (alba) to dark blue as you can see from the photo's from John. Its native habitat are the Mountains of Europe, often found growing on limestone although it will grow in soils that are not limey. Ideal for a shaded trough or crevice garden.
