Spring in Darien and Col's Garden Canberra.

Spring in Darien and Col's Garden in Canberra.

These two Gardeners garden in the very harsh climate of Canberra, every little plant is looked after and treated with so much care and attention. I am amazed every year with what they grow and flower, Canberra has not had much rain for months. Rain water collected in a tank is eaked out all through the Summer months and other parts of the year.

Narcissus Lawrence A2 161 17 2A the flower no bigger than your thumb nail. A hybrid of Lawrence Trevanion Narcissus breeder and grower from Canberra and also the next two Narcissus are also grown by the same Nursery.

Narcissus Moon Tiger

Narcissus Wilkomii

Erythronium Mum's Favourite looks very similar to the hybrid Erythronium called Hascombe a hybrid that appeared in the gardens of Hascombe in Mount Macedon.

 Erythronium Stunning Pink

Erythronium White Beauty.

Erythronium Pagoda a widely grown hybrid, I find the leaves have an attractive maroon edge to them and as the flowers appear the edge fades away.

 Tulip clusiana Lady Jane.

Tulipa species.

A lovely selection of Epimedium's in flower at the moment.
