Crocus.

 Crocus focus.

Crocus corms being repotted photo Jamus. Corms planted on a layer of course sand to keep them dry.

Crocus chrysanthus Cream Beauty. A lovely hybrid form of C. chrysanthus.

Crocus etruscus Zwanenburg is a much darker form than C.etruscus with lovely striping on the out side of the petals. Relatively easy to grow in the garden, doesn't mind the rain in winter but likes an open sunny position in the garden.

Crocus sub sp. serotinus salzmanni the most widely distributed Crocus in cultivation, easily grown in an open sunny spot in the garden.

Our next meeting is on Crocus focus presented by Mat Murray on the 24th June at 2.00pm at the Olinda Community House, Monbulk - Olinda road, Olinda, next to the Olinda swimming pool. Also on zoom contact Fermi for link. Mat has been growing Crocus for many years and has been hybridising his own varieties of Crocus and has some very nice hybrids now an interesting talk not to be missed.
