Cyclamen hederifolium in drifts.

Drifts of Cyclamen hederifolium.

On my way home from work at night I pass these two beautiful drifts of Cyclamen hederifolium on neighbours property. After getting permission I photographed them. They have just been allowed to spread over the years with very little interference and have self sown beautifully, unusually these drifts have more white flowers than pink it is common for pink to be the predominant colour. The shade in this area is perfect for specie Cyclamen not too heavy with an Acer giving protection from the Sun in the hottest part of the day.
